Aunt Donna.  My mom's sister.  We were so very fortunate to have been so close to my mom's sister and her four kids growing up. It's nice to know your parents love you, but it's also good to know someone else besides your parents like you and love you too!  Aunt Donna would keep me and my brothers (and sometimes just me!) for days at a time during the summer when we were little.  She had four boys and there was always something to do!  She was always so patient and kind and just rolled with all the craziness 7 kids bring!  As an adult, I've evacuated with Aunt Donna and just recently vacationed with her and her sons and their wives/kids.  It was so much fun!  She's so laid back and kind   and creative.  I think her and my mom together illustrate how a sibling relationship should be - I hope me and my brothers can emulate their relationship as we continue to grow.

So Long Prolong-ness

So you may remember this little project: 30 People in 30 Days.  Yea, about that, I started it um, only 2 years ago, to cover thirty people in thirty days to celebrate my thirtieth birthday.  Yea... I never finished.    What? It's only been two years since I began!  But!  I'm resolving to finish this - because I love all these people!

B-3!  Technically, I met this melting pot of people way after I turned 30, but they all have a little place in my heart!  B-3 was our code name for the PPG project I worked on last year.  They were all students and I was the odd woman out.  But they still accepted me. This crazy group was exactly what I needed when I met them!  And we've made lasting friendships - in fact were all going "camping" (in a camp house, not tents) this weekend.  Everybody brought something completely different to the table and we all meshed well.  We joke that we plan on opening a business together and everyones job has already been assigned.  It's hard making new friends when your old(er) and I'm so very thankful for having met Renee, Glen, Dave, Jennifer and Lillette!
