Perspective

18 months ago we sat in a hospital room watching, wondering about our son who stopped eating/drinking/urinating and was in obvious pain.  He was only six months old.  After three days in the hospital his hunger strike ended and he became better.  We were discharged  later with no diagnosis.  Much like this past week, my heart broke for parents who were receiving devastating diagnoses.

About that same time I read about Kate McRae.  A beautiful, blonde haired, blue eyed cherub that was diagnosed with brain cancer a couple months before.  For eighteen months this little girl has endured and fought a good fight.  This week, a MRI revealed new spots.  The doctors believe it is cancer again.  Please, lift Kate and her family - Mom, Dad, sister and brother up in your prayers.
